MRC Launches Christmas Toy Appeal for 2018

What is the MRC Toy Appeal?

Each year, MRC Community Action relies on the generosity of local churches, schools & families who donate money and brand new toys which are then given to children in and around North West Leicestershire.

Families referred to The Marlene Reid Centre are, for whatever reason, unable to buy presents for their children at Christmas time and without the Christmas Toy Appeal these children would not receive any gifts at all.

MRC Community Action at The Marlene Reid Centre has been running a Christmas Toy Appeal for over 30 years.

Last year, more than 100 children benefited from the appeal.

We appreciate that everyone is feeling ‘the pinch’ at the moment, but whatever you can spare would be greatly welcomed.

We would kindly ask that all donations to the appeal be received before Sunday 9th December 2018.
