Neighbourhood Mental Health Cafés

The Neighbourhood Mental Health Cafés (previously called crisis cafes) are part of Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust’s local support for people who need immediate help with their mental health.

The cafes are drop in centres for anyone to come and talk to us about their mental health – no appointment needed. We have supportive, trained staff who can listen and provide the practical support you need.

A safe space and friendly face cafe sessions. Drop in for a non judgemental chat with our team to talk over any challenges you may be facing. The team offer a rangeof mindful activities with different themes each week. Here you can spend time with our supportive mentors and join in with various activities at your own leisure and discuss anything that may be on your mind.

We want those that need mental health support to access our local neighbourhood cafés, but we know that sometimes just getting there can be difficult. This is where the NWL Mental Health Café Hopper can help!

Whether you haven't got transport or are struggling to leave your home on your own, our friendly driver will collect you from your home or another agreed location to bring you to the Coalville Café (MRC, 10am – 1pm) or the Measham Café (Age UK, 4-7pm), and return you home afterwards.

The service is available on Tuesdays, and you can either call on the day before 4pm, or book up to a week in advance.
