Our Charity Shops
The Marlene Reid Centre currently runs retail shops in three areas within Coalville, Leicestershire which through donations enable us to generate funds to continue our community projects. We stock quality second hand clothing, small furnishings along with everything to kit out a small apartment to a large family home!
These shops would not be possible without the generosity of our volunteers who use their unique skills and knowledge to provide a great customer service experience whilst gaining valuable experiences along the way. We recruit volunteers in retail, warehousing, administration or even odd jobs around the centre. If you're interested in joining our amazing team, contact us to find out more.

All funds raised from The Attic enable the great work of MRC Community Action, providing inclusive social opportunities to enhance the lifestyles for local people within our community. Please be aware we will not accept any donations left at the shop door due to COVID procedures in order to keep our colleagues safe! All proceeds from the shop will be returned to MRC Community Action charity to support the provision of much needed services in North West Leicestershire. Opening Hours:

The Furniture Warehouse ( Main location )

We stock the majority of our large reused furniture here at our central location which has been trading for more than 20 years. We stock dozens of sofas, solid wood furniture and everything in between. You can even arrange a free collection of your unwanted furniture through our van crew here who will collect your items from any location in North West Leicestershire.

Here we have a huge range of new electrical items and beds at this store but also stock some of our second hand furniture here too! We sell quality graded white goods and beds to suit all styles and budgets.

Donate your unwanted furniture to us!
If you're having a clear out and find any unwanted household items, we will take them off your hands!
Our furniture warehouse in Coalville town centre relies on donations of unwanted furniture items still in good condition to continue providing essential support funds to The Marlene Reid Centre.
We will collect large items in North West Leicestershire free of charge. All items must be in good condition for reuse. Unfortunately we are no longer able to collect electrical items.
