Dial-A-Ride

Using four accessible minibuses, shopping services are provided throughout the week in the Measham, Moira, Ashby, Ibstock, Whitwick, Donisthorpe, Appleby Magna, Thringstone, Ravenstone, Markfield and Coalville areas.

This is a door-to-door service and half fare bus passes and tokens may be used in payment. Fares are compatible with those charged by public transport providers.

People who use a wheelchair are able to use these services as our minibuses are fully accessible.

Wheels to Meals, Shopping & Tea Shop Outing Programmes

The service takes place every Monday for elderly and / or disabled people and their carers who may have a limited access to social or shopping opportunities. Social Car Scheme

Volunteer drivers, using their own cars, transport frail older people to Doctors, Opticians, Chiropodists, Dentists, to collect prescriptions, pay bills or to visit sick relatives. Contact Carol Mills on 01530 512456, email cmills@mrc.uk.net
