Volunteering & Training for Work Opportunities with REACT

In the REACT Training Room

The REACT training scheme provides opportunities for disadvantaged individuals within North West Leicestershire. The scheme offers volunteering and on-the-job training for the long-term unemployed. Training focuses on the following skills:-

  • Driving
  • Manual Handling
  • Warehouse Work
  • Health & Safety
  • Reception
  • Basic Computing
  • Clerical experience
  • Basic Skills
  • Woodwork / Carpentry

The scheme also includes Support & Guidance in:-

  • Confidence Building
  • Job Search
  • Application Form Filling
  • Writing a CV
  • Literacy & Numeracy
  • Interviewing & Social Skills
  • Personal Effectiveness
