Jenny Rodgers the NextStep Advisor based at The Marlene Reid Centre provides Information/Advice on Learning and Work Opportunities to individuals across North West Leicestershire and is able to assist in the completion of CVs and job applications.
Jenny also has Adult Directions, an easy to operate software package, available at The Marlene Reid Centre for people to use who are looking to make career changing decisions.

Volunteering & Training for Work Opportunities with REACT
In the REACT Training Room
The REACT training scheme provides opportunities for disadvantaged individuals within North West Leicestershire. The scheme offers volunteering and on-the-job training for the long-term unemployed. Training focuses on the following skills:-
- Driving
- Manual Handling
- Warehouse Work
- Health & Safety
- Reception
- Basic Computing
- Clerical experience
- Basic Skills
- Woodwork / Carpentry
The scheme also includes Support & Guidance in:-

- Interviewing & Social Skills
